Elise Boulanger is a citizen of the Osage Nation and MA student in the Art History in Arts of the Americas program at the University of Arkansas. As an emerging curator and ceramic artist, Boulanger specializes in collaborative, community-centric, and place-based projects that intertwine knowledge from Indigenous-made works in museum collections with revitalization networks of Indigenous lifeways and languages. She most recently curated an exhibit of historic and contemporary moccasins titled Lovingly Made and was a co-curator of the 2025 convening program Resounding Sovereign Expressions: Resurgent Indigenuity in Ozark Arts Practice & Scholarship at the University of Arkansas.

Michelle Kamanga is an interdisciplinary artist, curator, and art historian. She holds a MA in Art History from the University of Arkansas specializing in contemporary art of the African diaspora. Her research questions how artists engage material culture to explore themes of identity, cultural memory, and archival practice. Kamanga recently curated an exhibition titled Black Matter[s]: Demystifying Black Materiality in the Arts examining how stories by Black creatives are materialized through wood, fiber, fabric, clay, and found objects in the American South. She has held curatorial internships at the Art Bridges Foundation (2023) and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (2024).

Delaney Rumsey is a citizen of the Osage Nation and an MA student in the Arts of the Americas Art History program at the University of Arkansas. Her research focuses on contemporary Native American art, focusing specifically on how artists engage questions of place, representation, and inclusion within institutional spaces. Rumsey is especially interested in the ways museums and galleries shape narratives around Indigenous identity. Through her work, she seeks to highlight Native artists’ interventions in these spaces and to contribute to more meaningful and informed approaches to exhibiting and interpreting Indigenous art today.
